Here at ThreatBlockr, we all work very hard to not only build and deliver products that help our customers solve their threat intelligence challenges, but also, in the greater scheme of things, protect our “way of life” from the bad guys. This isn’t just “corporate kool-aid.” We are a small but passionate group of people who believe very much in what we are doing. So when we are recognized by industry organizations, we take a lot of pride in that recognition.
Therefore, we are very excited to have been chosen as one of the Northern Virginia Technology Council’s (NVTC) 2019 Tech 100 Honorees. Each year, the NVTC accepts nominations throughout the greater Washington D.C. area, and through a careful review and consideration process, chooses 100 companies that it determines as groundbreaking: “having demonstrated dedication, vision, and innovation” in the region’s technology industry. And we are on that list!
You know? We all work very hard in our daily jobs. If we are lucky, we find ourselves doing something about which we are truly passionate. Personally, I can say that this is true for me. So above all the social media links, the hype, and the badge that we can put on our presentations….at the end of the day (while our CEO will be accepting the award – all gussied up and over a swanky meal at the Ritz), it is today’s “validation” that our hard work is not going unnoticed. It reminds me that what we are doing is making a difference, and deepens our resolve to “stay the course.”
