Sr Sales Engineer


ThreatBlockr, Inc., is in search of a dedicated person with deep cybersecurity experience who truly enjoys team collaboration and wants to take their skills to the next level in a fast-paced startup environment.


At ThreatBlockr, we leverage small, independent thought leaders to guide customers, partners and an industry to stop Threat Actors!  This role as a strategic Sr. Sales Engineer will be a cornerstone of our go to market strategy to build our brand with MSPs.  You will support our sales team by communicating our value to an MSP to enable them to build a service delivery around ThreatBlockr.   


Your Key Responsibilities


  • Support the sales team to drive revenue with our MSP practice 
  • Communicate ThreatBlockr’s technology and our key differentiators in the market
  • Architect and build solutions to match customers and MSPs challenges  
  • Demo our products and value proposition effectively and concisely for prospects, customers and MSPs 
  • Leverage your deep cybersecurity experience to bring thought leadership to our market, especially with regard to differentiators in the modern cyber security stack
  • When you aren’t traveling for sales team needs, you will be in-office in our headquarters (currently in Tysons, VA) or our satellite office in Chicago AT LEAST three days per week (Monday, Tuesday, Thursday) with discretionary WFH on Wednesdays and Fridays

Your Qualifications


  • 5+ years operating as an SE in a network- or cybersecurity-related field
  • 5+ years of networking and cybersecurity experience
  • Deep understanding of the cybersecurity market of technologies 
  • Exceptional verbal and written communications skills
  • Demonstrated ability to create, read, and advise on network and cybersecurity architecture diagrams
  • Working knowledge of the Linux command line
  • Working knowledge of scripting in bash and/or python
  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field preferred
  • You truly enjoy working collaboratively in a team environment
