QA Automation Engineer
ThreatBlockr, Inc., is in search of a QA Automation Engineer to join our product team, where everyone contributes to the betterment of our products. You will be responsible for manual testing of features and automating tests in the agile sprint cycle. This position will report to the QA Manager.
This is an in-office position and you will be in our headquarters office (currently in Tysons, VA) AT LEAST three days per week (Monday, Tuesday, Thursday) with discretionary WFH on Wednesdays and Fridays.
Who you are:
- You have prior experience of at least two years testing Web applications
- You have obtained a bachelor's degree in Computer Science or other relevant engineering fields
- You are a certified tester (ISTQB:CTFL or equivalent)
- You are passionate about delivering high quality software products
- You are a responsible individual capable of estimating, managing and organizing your work
- You have strong experience in UI/API and Database testing
- You have experience working with test automation
- You have basic working knowledge of git
- You have experience or familiarity with project management tools such as JIRA
- You truly enjoy working collaboratively in a team environment
What the job involves:
- Validate acceptance criteria of user stories
- Clearly communicate test failures to the engineering team in JIRA tickets
- Create and maintain necessary Test Documentation
- Replicate bugs reported by customers to determine their level of impact
- Create and maintain automated tests (Integration,E2E)
- Participate in all team meetings and agile ceremonies
Tech: Cypress, SQL, Swagger, Postman, Linux CLI, JIRA, Confluence, Google Suite
