ThreatBlockr provides the RH-ISAC with unique insights and an interactive threat briefing session for all attendees

Tysons Corner, VA, March 14, 2023 – Today, ThreatBlockr, the autonomous cyber intelligence and active threat defense platform, is partnering with The Retail & Hospitality Information Sharing and Analysis Center (RH-ISAC) to sponsor the RH-ISAC Regional Workshop hosted by IHG Hotels & Resorts in Atlanta, Georgia.

“RH-ISAC’s commitment to sharing and providing cybersecurity information to their community to help security teams strengthen their cyber efforts is admirable,” said Brian McMahon, Chief Executive Officer at ThreatBlockr. “Their mission aligns well with ours as we strive to alleviate the pressures of the security team by providing a fully automated platform and analysis of cyber intelligence to help improve security posture.”

The workshop is available for information security practitioners from retail, restaurants, hotels, gaming casinos, food retailers, consumer product manufacturers, and other consumer-facing companies, and will encourage professional development and networking.

George Just, Chief Revenue Officer at ThreatBlockr, will host an interactive threat briefing session to educate RH-ISAC members on how hackers see the network and how security teams can keep them out. Members that attend the session will gain an understanding of the following:

  • What a hacker does to your network and the warning signs
  • How to ensure your team is educated and equipped to handle different types of attacks
  • The foundation of a strong security posture

“Cyber attackers continue to be the number one threat to organizations and all industries must understand that they are always at risk,” stated Just. “Awareness is the key element to ensure protection from security threats. CISOs are traditionally held accountable, but with the evolution of all-encompassing threats, the entire C-suite must be knowledgeable and responsible.”

The workshop is open to any cybersecurity practitioner that works in the consumer-facing sector. For more information, visit https://rhis.ac/Atlanta.
